Toward the end of the week Papa Jim treated us to a ride on the train. Eric and I have tried to go on this train a couple of times, but it runs on eastern time so we missed it the two different times we have gone when the boys were younger.
This time we left in plenty of time and allowed for the hour we were going to lose. It was a good day for the train as it was a little rainy and pretty cool. Since we had a few minutes to spare when we got to the look around at the gift shop.
Since I didn't come as prepared as I should have, I bought the boys each a coloring pad that was in the gift shop. This was very helpful as we were waiting for the train to leave after we were on the train. Everyone was excited to go on the train ride.
It had been a very long time for the boys, I think Thomas might have been around two and Phillip just a newborn. Olivia wasn't sure at all but enjoyed looking out the window.
At the half way point we were able to get off the train and walk around a bit and use the bathrooms. There was also a snack cart and Papa got everyone a snack for the ride back. It was a fun outing and the kids had a lot of fun : )
