Fall leaf clean up

The boys love when the leaves fall from our maple tree in our front yard. Eric and myself not so much. The boys are at the age now were they really love to play in the big pile. 

 Our clean up is usually a few weekends as you can see there are still plenty of leaves on the tree even after Eric cleaned up what had fallen. 

 Eric loves to play with his boys as well so after the pile was big enough, it was time to toss them in ;) They thought this was the best thing. After a few tosses Sup and Thomas decided to come out of the leaves as zombies. 

 I really have no idea where the zombies have come from but it seems they have become pretty popular.  So this is Thomas's zombie impression, it was pretty funny. After getting tossed in they would shoot up one of their hands and slowly come out of the pile. Then walk around like this for a while. 

Hockey game

The beginning of November Eric and I thought it would be fun to take the boys to see our local minor league hockey team. We have heard the games are pretty fun and would be a fun family activity. 

 It was nice to have Eric off on a Friday so we had a nice three day weekend. Although I am a pretty big hockey fan the boys really haven't been exposed to the game and not sure what to expect from it. 

 We were able to get pretty good seats, we were just a few rows up from the ice and behind the net. I was excited to dig out my Red Wings jersey for the game as I really haven't watched much hockey since Sup was born. 

 The boys did really well as the game and seemed to have a good time. They were really interested in the Zamboni when it cleaned the ice between the periods. They also thought it was fun to see the players get hit along the boards.  

In the end the Icemen lost their first game of the season, but we had a good time :)
