Fun in the pool

On April 18th we were starting to get warmer weather and it was a beautiful sunny day. Part of Olivia's birthday present was a little pool for her to play in. For obvious reasons we couldn't get it out in January. 

So later that morning we blew it up and filled it with water and let it sit in the sun a little bit to warm the water up for later that afternoon. Out of all my children she has loved her bath and loves playing in the water. Although she was a little confused that this was outside she seemed excited about the concept of playing with the water outside. 

After her nap we got her in her swimsuit and brought her outside. Both of the boys were also excited about playing outside in the water. It didn't take them long to find their own swimsuits and putting them on to play with Olivia in her little pool. 

The water was still a little cold which she was not a fan of. So she would just stand in the pool and then she would step out and sit by it and play in the water with her hands. It was a fun activity and was able to keep the kids entertained for a good time. Even though we were both out with her the boys did a good job keeping an eye on her as well to keep her safe : )
