Air Force Museum

For Easter weekend we made plans to visit Papa Mark while he was in Dayton for some work stuff. Eric had Friday off so we planned on driving up Friday. With all the snow days and make up days the boys had school on Good Friday so we ended up having them go of about a half a day and left in the afternoon.
We got a little later start but we were able to get up to Dayton safe and sound. On Saturday we made plans to hang out at the Air Force Museum. The boys had stopped by last year but we were able to play  and look at a lot of fun stuff.
Eric and I were here when we were dating but it was fun to see how much fun things they had for the kids to do and see. They had a lot of simulation type of things. Both Thomas and Sup had fun trying to land space ships and airplanes.
Since Livvy was in the car for so long the previous day she wasn't too interested in looking at anything in particular, but she loved all the space to walk and run!
There were a lot of places to see and the museum was a lot bigger then I remembered. So it was nice that there were some places to sit and rest. Livvy had a lot to tell Papa when we had to rest or wait for the rest of the group ; )
One of the things that all the kids enjoyed was to sit in the airplanes. Papa had fun telling us what all the different buttons did and how the planes functioned.
We were able to spend a good part of the day looking around, learning about the Air Force and playing in the museum.  After the museum we stopped by a market to get some things to eat for lunch and headed back for the hotel to eat.
