After the weather started to get nicer in April we wanted to get things started on our garden so we would be able to plant in soon. A few years ago we decided to build a raised garden bed and it has worked out really well.
We had to add a little bit more dirt and work up the rest of the dirt before we planted anything. Adding the dirt was very interesting to Livvy and she was ready to to jump in.
She decided to sit and have a fun time in the dirt. Daddy was able to get her a little shovel that way she would be able to help with spreading out the dirt. She was a very good help.
The only thing that I wasn't too bright about was when I dressed her that morning, I put her in white pants and a white shirt with small pink polka dots. So when you put her in a box of top soil it didn't take long for her clothes to get all dirty.
Although she didn't seem to care too much ; ) She was all smiles and happy to play in the big box of dirt : )
