In Olivia Easter basket we put a few bottles of nail polish in there for her to try out. At first she just liked looking at the pretty colors in the bottle, not really sure what it was or what you do with them.
After we got everything cleaned up from dinner and were just resting and hanging out for the evening Eric decided he wanted to use the nail polish. She is very much a girly girl so she was the color she picked was the hot pink. Because she still puts her fingers in her mouth we decided that toe nails were the way to go.
I am not a big nail painter in general. In fact I hate having my finger nails painted at all and once in a while in the summer I will at least do my toe nails. So Olivia has never sat and watched me paint my nails, so we weren't sure how well she would sit for this.
Once Eric started putting on the pink nail polish she was so excited to see her nails turning pink! She was able to sit there rather still for 14 month old.
In the end He was able to get both sets of toes painted and she was thrilled about it. She was going around pointing at her toes and was showing everyone her amazing toes : )
