Cleaning up the walnuts

After about a week of drying Eric wanted to try out his new project for the nuts. When you get the initial husk off the walnut there is still a lot of the stuff that is stuck in its cracks.

 Eric saw this "cleaner" I guess I'll call it on youtube and thought that he would try to make it to try to get the rest of the nuts clean.

The boys thought it was a new toy and therefore really excited to help. The boys would each get a bag of the walnuts and put them in the small hole in the side.

After a couple of bags were in the tumbler they were ready to spin. In the video the guy hooked the the tumbler to a drill and made it spin by electricity. But who needs a drill to spin it if you have two little boys with a lot of energy ?? ;)
