After lunch we headed into "museum" part of the prairie. They had a ton of fun things for the kids to play with and learn about. It was a good distraction for the boys as well because Gramma and Papa had to go on their way.
After saying goodbye the boys got started with building a crane out of the legos. Daddy found the book and told them what pieces they needed step by step.
The boys had a lot of fun with the legos and their cranes turned out great! Although I don't think Sup's lasted very long before he took it apart.
The section was a science section so they had a lot of fun things for the boys to look at and try out. Of course anything with cars is a big attraction. So they had fun putting the cars on this ramp and watching them zig zag their way down.
Thomas tried out this music maker I guess I will call it. It is kinda like one of self playing pianos, only you have to turn the crank. The little wooden pegs can be moved to make different tunes and when you turn it the long wooden sticks hit the pegs and play the different tunes.
While Thomas was at the "piano" Sup was more interested in trying to make all the dials spin. He wasn't able to get them all to spin at table but got half of them to work, not bad for a 3 yr old :)
