Thomas has been very adamant about dressing himself and picking out his own clothes. I am usually let him wear what he wants even if he looks pretty silly. So it can be lots of fun when we leave the house... Although on Sundays he is limited to his choices for both clothes and shoes :)
I am not sure how Thomas got outside without getting dressed first. The rule around our house is if you want to go outside to play you have to be dressed and you need to have shoes on. Thomas thought he would try to get away with just his boots on. So I am sure the neighbors had a laugh with Thomas in his skeleton jammies and green froggy boots.
A few days later he decided he needed to "get ready for snow". Now I am not sure why because it has been in the nineties here, but both him and Sup played "getting ready for snow" the entire morning... Sometimes these silly boys make me wonder ;)
In Nauvoo Gramma gave Thomas some new boots. He LOVES his new boots and has worn them everyday this week with shorts.
Are those cowboy boots? Thomas and Jed really are meant to be best friends. We've also been playing "I'm so chilly" all week around here. Jed sits at the kitchen table in our 80+ degree house and talks about how he needs a jacket and a blanket and a hot pack and some hot cocoa to warm up. Seriously? These boys are nuts!
