When we woke up Sunday morning we were welcomed with quite a storm. It was nine in the morning and looked like it was time to go back to bed. Then we were hit with high winds and a down pour. We thought our plans to visit Carthage and a picnic with the family were not going to happen.
Luckily it was a fast moving storm and by the time we left the hotel the rain was stopping and the sky was becoming lighter.
On our way to Carthage we wanted to stop and get one more look at the temple. We wanted to see if we could get one more family picture without Thomas crying. Thanks Papa this pic is just for you ;)
When we made it to Carthage we could see some blue skies and some sun. 
Daddy and Uncle Ry Ry did a great job entertaining the boys as the family was finishing up some family pics. After the all the pictures were complete we headed off to tour the jail. It was quite an experience and I was grateful we were able to stop and tour this historic place.
Why yes Thomas does smile for a family picture!
