Our family garden

Eric and I really wanted the boys to get excited about our garden so we had them help pick out some of the plants and help out with planting them. 

 It seemed to be a bit early to plant but we were having nice weather and if we watched the weather they could be easily covered, so we went ahead and planted them. 

 The boys really enjoyed planting the tomatoes so it was a good thing that we had plenty for them to plant. Eric would dig the hole for them and I would hand them the plant. The boys then put the plant in the hole and covered it up with the dirt while I held it in place. 

 By the time we got to the seeds Sup had lost interest....mainly because he couldn't just play in the dirt anymore. So when it came to the seeds Thomas and Daddy planted them together. 

After everything was planted Eric and Thomas put up steaks with a picture of what was planted so we new what was where and put them in our garden. It was a fun family activity and hopefully we are able to get a good crop this year. We are all very excited to see what happens with it. The boys love to look and see if anything has grown and are proud that they were part of planting it.
