Since we moved into our home about a year and a half ago Eric and I have been working on our food and water storage. Our water storage has been a little more successful then our food storage, but it is always a work in progress. Our basement is a nice size but we like to take advantage of all the space we have we decided to move the water into the the cellar area we have.
Since we have been saving jugs and bottles pretty much since we have moved in it took us a few hours with putting all the jugs in. It was quiet the job but we were proud of our progress with our storage.
Since we have well water if the power did go out we need water for everything, not just to drink so it was important to have a good start for our supply. It was a good learning experience for the boys as well. I am not sure what the count is but we know we still need more to have our years worth.
