Our next stop was to see the Canyonlands. Thomas was not so sure if he wanted to get out and see them but we were finally able to persuade him to come out of the van to see the "really big hole". The boys thought it was really cool and made sure that hands where being held at all times.
To Thomas and Sup the most exciting thing was they got to see a little lizard. They had seen a few at the Arches so they were looking over to find another one.
Thomas and Gramma were looking hard for one. Thomas said that he wanted to catch one so that he could take it home to Daddy.
We had some very nice views, this was our big T-Rex footprint :)
Since Thomas was a little more grumpy in the afternoon getting a smile was more challenging, this was the best we could do.
Sup was still a little drowsy from his nap too so Papa was kind enough to carry him around for me.
They did have some good luck and were able to find a small lizard and Thomas tried really hard to catch one for Daddy. He got close enough to touch it amazingly..they are pretty quick little animals... but it slipped through is fingers.
