When we came back from out hike we were all pretty hungry, so we ate our picnic lunch in the park and headed back down the mountain and stopped at the visitors center.
They had some fun displays to look at a some interactive exhibits that the kids had fun looking/watching and touching.
They had little mouse or rat thing here that Sup just thought was the coolest thing. He stayed here with gramma and watched it for quite a while.
Thomas had a lot of fun with this little exhibit that you could match the bugs and animals on the board with what was in the pond. Thomas was able to find most of the items and liked the little toad the most.
Of course with two Grammas and two Papas they were able get get someone to get something for them at the gift shop. My mom let Sup and Thomas pick out a little stuffed animal from the bin they had. Sup picked out the little bunny and Thomas got the scary spider.
Thomas thought the spider needed to see some of the exhibits too.
