The gorillas

We spent a the most time at the gorilla forest. Both before and after lunch and honestly we probably could have spent hours looking at and watching these silly gorillas.
I am not sure what sparked their particular interest the gorillas but they really couldn't get enough of them. It was a lot of fun because there were not a lot of people at the zoo that day and the gorillas (and most of the other animals) were really active. The boys loved to see the gorilla right up to the glass unlike the orangutan.
There was one that game right up to Thomas while he was turned around and tapped the glass and made him jump. According to Thomas it didn't scare him and he thought it was funny. But to Eric and I we had seen him jump and the look on his face that it did startle him, but we all laughed and still had fun watching them.
There was a point where they got some food to eat and this one Sup thought it was so fun to sit there and watch him eat his pineapple.
Daddy and Thomas had an argument that this one was real. Thomas didn't take the bait He is a very observant kid and knew right away that Daddy was teasing him. Sup on the other hand was not so sure and was a little more cautious going up to it.
It was no surprise to either one of us that when we said they could pick out only one thing from the gift shop that they each picked out a stuffed gorilla. Sup picked his out really quick he wanted a baby gorilla so he has this little black one in his hand. Thomas well lets just say he is much more particular and had to look at all the gorillas they had and took much longer to find the one he wanted. It wasn't until he had the option of picking one or leaving without one that he chose the sliver back gorilla. It was so funny because neither boy let go of his gorilla for the rest of the night and they still have to go to bed with their gorillas at night.
